Sweet Tea V2
The JHS Sweet Tea V2 is a versatile dual overdrive and distortion pedal that combines two of JHS Pedals' popular circuits into a single unit. It is designed to cover a wide range of gain, from light breakup to heavy grind. The right side features the JHS-808 circuit, a modified Tube Screamer-style drive known for excellent bass response, which includes a 3-way gain switch for varied saturation. The left side houses the Angry Charlie circuit, which provides a high-gain, JCM 800-type "Brown Sound" Marshall distortion. A key feature of the V2 is the order toggle switch, allowing the user to select which circuit comes first in the signal chain before stacking the two for complex, saturated tones. This combination of classic and high-gain drive, with the flexibility of the stacking order, makes the Sweet Tea V2 a highly diverse tool for rock, blues, and heavy music.
