Sunday afternoon fuzz
The Animals Pedal Sunday Afternoon Is Infinity Bender is a professional-grade fuzz pedal designed in collaboration with the renowned Matthew Holl of Wren and Cuff. It is specifically engineered to replicate the iconic, warm, and thick germanium-based tones of the mid-1960s British "Bender" style fuzz, but utilizes reliable silicon transistors at its core. This hybrid approach ensures consistent performance across various temperatures while maintaining the classic, organic character of vintage circuits. The pedal features intuitive controls, including Fuzz and Volume, alongside a unique "Smooth" knob that allows players to adjust the tone balance, warmth, and edginess of the effect. It delivers a rich, saturated sound with a dominant low-to-mid range frequency, providing a "heavier" feel than a standard Fuzz Face. Built with a true-bypass footswitch and a durable, aesthetically pleasing enclosure, it is designed to work seamlessly with both clean and distorting tube amplifiers for professional recording and live performance.
