Queen of Tone

The NUX Queen of Tone is a dual overdrive pedal that combines two classic overdrive circuits: the Horseman (based on the legendary Centaur) and the Morning Star. It allows guitarists to stack these two overdrives for a versatile range of tones in a single stompbox. The Horseman side features a TONE and GAIN knob, with a secondary SILVER mode accessible by holding the footswitch. The Morning Star side includes TONE and LEVEL knobs, with a SHINE mode also available via a hold function. The pedal offers flexible routing options, including an external footswitch jack, and a BF/TB toggle switch for selecting Buffered Bypass or True Bypass. Additionally, it features an IFS (Input FET Stage) switch to increase the input signal, driving a tube amplifier hotter. It operates on a 9V negative tip power supply.
