Through meticulous reverse-engineering, the Thorn captures the raw, organic roar of that original Stampede circuit, while introducing critical refinements for modern use. Three selectable modes allow you to dial in the exact flavor you need - from the faithful SDT-1 replication, to the more compressed SDT-2 tones Bossu employed in Living Gate, and even a proprietary "laerm" mode that opens up the response for a louder, more direct sound. But the Thorn is no mere clone. It packs an adjustable, footswitchable boost and a precise 1kHz mid control for shaping the all-important midrange.
