x Pile V2 Mirror House
The Electronic Audio Experiments x Pile V2 Mirror House is a pitch-shifting and oscillator pedal capable of generating two pitch-shifted copies of an incoming signal, which move in equal and opposite directions. This unique "diametric" approach allows for effects ranging from subtle detuning and thick chorus to disorienting microtonal clusters and strange, ugly dissonance. Originally developed in collaboration with the band Pile, the Version 2 update enhances the pedal's capabilities with improved envelope tracking for the Shift and Detune modes, a reduced noise floor in the DSP signal path, and the addition of a new "Flutter" mode. It utilizes relay switching for true bypass. The pedal is designed as a versatile tool for musicians seeking experimental modulation and harmony effects, operating on 9V DC power with a current draw of 95mA.
