Bass Soul Food
The Electro-Harmonix Bass Soul Food is a transparent overdrive and clean boost pedal designed to enhance a bass or guitar signal while retaining the instrument’s essential character and clarity. It is known for delivering natural overdrive sounds and powerful clean boost capabilities, with enough volume to assert presence in a mix. Key features include an adjustable "Blend" knob, which allows players to mix the clean, original signal with the effect for an articulate, full tone. The pedal also features boosted power rails for extra definition and headroom, as well as selectable true or buffered bypass modes. A switchable -10dB pad is included for use with active instruments. While it can be used as a standalone drive, many players find it excels as a boost to accentuate other drive or fuzz pedals.
