Orama
The Crazy Tube Circuits Orama is a dual-drive pedal designed to deliver definitive rock, stoner, and doom tones. Its name, "Orama," is Greek for vision, representing the company's vision of uniting classic British amplification growl with thick fuzz saturation. The pedal features two distinct, blendable voices in a single enclosure. The left side is an amp-inspired circuit based on the huge sound and dynamics of the Orange OR120 amplifier, including controls like F.A.T. (which shelves off low end) and HFD (HF Drive) for upper midrange excitement. The right side is Crazy Tube Circuits' take on the classic boutique Frantone Peachfuzz circuit. The fuzz section includes a Raw/Burn toggle for vastly different characters: Raw offers a vintage, articulate, lower-gain tone, while Burn provides higher gain, enhanced bass, and aggressive saturation. These two effects can be used independently or stacked to create a unified, earth-shaking wall of sound, exploring every shade between articulate crunch and unrelenting sustain. The Orama is praised for its dynamic, reactive, and expressive feel.
